Snow Day

SO I must admit I LOVE Snow Days, but I mean who doesn't? So that means I'm typing away at my favorite place in the world; Barnes & Noble, literally my home away from home.
The book writing process if just flowing out of my fingers lately and I'm a whirlwind of ideas!

Side note - Everytime I post, I get a comment from myself on it saying exactly what I said in my blog .. weird. I still haven't figured this out.

That's all for now! Holidays have put a little bit of a hold on writing, but that also means thats classes are ending (this week) so I can write more!

hi everyone :)

So sorry I have been MIA for the past 10 days. I had started a post a few days ago and the just never sent it, and well no it's irrelevant. I am very excited for this book and I'm loving every second of writing it. 

I completely scrapped the first draft because I had no clue where I was going with it and it stopped making sense. This new one though I am in love with and it's just flowing out of me like there's no tomorrow. 

This week is crazy busy between work and the holidays and well being your typical 21 year old. I will be writing as much as possible, gotta love the nanny life! I have ample writing time while they're busy playing and doing homework! 

My goal is to get 10,000 words don't by the end of this week which I will definitely do. My first draft was over 10,000 and that took me maybe three days total to write, so hopefully I can do the same with this, just make it a million times better.

February is quickly approaching, I hope to have the majority done by New Years that way I can lock down in editing mode as well as Beta-readers, getting it out to be reviewed prior to release date, and to get some solid advertising in !

Two books?

I have ideas running through my head like you would not believe

I have TWO,  yes two stories mulling in my head right now … if only they could meld into one, but they cannot be.

So here I go sitting at the coffee shop writing what I hope will be an amazing book for everyone to read! I cannot wait for my first book to be released. Go figure I haven't decided on a name foe that book, but I do have a name for my second book which I love. 

I can't thoroughly grasp the correct word for my first novel, but when I do I'll know

Title Issues

This is the worst I just can't get a fitting title since well the characters took me somewhere completely different from where I had originally intended. I absolutely love the new direction of the book and I'm super excited to be charing them with you, I'm just struggling with a title.

I realize most people also don't talk about a book months in advance, but this is a new experience for me and well I like letting whoever wants to read this where I am with my progress! I can't wait to share this story with you, and please be patient with me !

NaNoWriMo?

To get involved in National Novel Writing Month or not to get involved, that is the question.
Hmm, I mean it would be a great way to give myself a deadline for getting at least 50,000+ words in by the time November is up, but I really don't understand how to use it so that could be a problem. Plus if I don't get it done on time I'm gonna be upset with myself ! I have almost 5,500 words complete and a conundrum or editing to accomplish before my deadline of January 1st

That is how long I'm giving myself, in which I hope to have the novel done and have the first round of editing done before I send it out to Beta readers. (Early February) while the book cover is being complete. Then I will take in all the criticism and critique and tweak the story to fit what my readers believe will help me produce an amazing story! It will be on sale Early March 2014.

I know a lot of good authors are publishing novels around that time, so I will be doing heavy research not to have my release on the same day as theirs because well you're more likely to go for a novel where you've already read what that author can produce then going for a no name author.

Anyhow, midterms are calling my names as well as my Dunkin Donuts coffee. It's going to be a very looonnnnggg night. I am hoping to accomplish some more writing tonight hopefully break 6,500 words.

An Epiphany! has occurred

I't official, and I know I think I say this like every other post, but I have such a clear concise idea going on. And it is NOTHING like I've read before. 

I've got some twists up my sleeve :)

So here I go sitting on my Mac until Revenge and Drop Dead Diva come on later with my key board clicking. 

This is probably the roughest rough draft I've ever written in my life and is going to need so much editing because the beginning was going in a different direction, but I am super excited and cant wait to figure out an awesome title, because believe me a kick ass book needs a kick ass title!

Stay tuned early March 2014 my New Adult book will be coming out! 

I'm the WORST at updating!

So I got from updating everyday to not updating for like over a month and for that I am truly sorry to whoever reads my blog. 

I am still trying to learn how to work this website and complete redesign it into something amazing. Which I will be doing all day today! Please I used to be all about HTML ( I had the coolest Myspace's) and all I have to do is remember how to do it! Hopefully it wont be do hard. 

Anyway I had an epiphany and know where I'm taking this book. I crossed out so many ideas that I didn't want to do anymore, but now I have a concept I love that it different. I mean in the New Adult genre I haven't read this concept before. 

So bear with me while I work on it and get through this. 

I can assure you I have great thing to come in 2014!

The cover will be done in February by the amazing Sarah from okaycreations.com and I seriously cannot wait to work with her. If you've never heard of her, check out her website. I'm sure you've read one of the books she had designed. 

I'm off to work work work. Having today off from work I'm going into hermit mode with Dunkin Donuts and probably an entire bottle of Pepsi!

Any who I am super excited to write this novel and cannot wait to get it out there, so please be patient, and don't mind the site if I start changing things and get the HTML completely wrong and things start to look crazy! 

Where's the Wifi

The world would be a much easier place 

1. If I had Wifi at work. ( I'm a nanny but feel to awkward asking for their password when I should be watching their kid) 

2. If Pages for Mac had the thesaurus/dictionary sidebar like MS Word does. (I've resorted to using my Mac and laptop for writing just so I can use MS Words thesaurus )

3. If my thoughts would just magically appear how I want them in the story. ( I know where I want everything to go, it's just transferring my thoughts onto paper is a little tedious)

Still working on redesigning my blog ( which will most likely have to happen on my laptop, Macs a little confusing for me still.) 

Story untitled <--- name I have given the book until we get closer to release, and I decide between the two names I'm stuck on. Is coming along nicely and like I said just a little difficult to get my thoughts on paper

Happy 3,000

I've hit just over 3,000 words and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm super nervous and realize that by the time I'm done editing this book it may be completely different but that's okay! I'm up for the challenge and hopefully on my way to something good and exciting! 

Just wanted to send a brief update! I will be looking for Beta readers down the road but ill probably put that up on Goodreads! 

I'm also hoping to figure out how to use this site and make it really personal and exciting and most of all about my book! 

Hopefully I can get that all done sometime this week maybe!

1,623 Words and Counting

I am in full writing mode and I absolutely love it. It's a very very very rough draft and I'm so new into the book, but I have and idea as to where it's going and I'm running with it!

It is expected to be roughly 105,000+ words so I have 103,377 words left! I'm antisipating the book to range about 400 pages. It will be a stand alone novel (for now anyway) I'm going for a Beautiful Disaster, Edge of Never, Coincidence of Callie and Kayden, Never to Far Trilogy feel. If that makes andy sense haha. The book is nothing like that, it deals with a new topic I haven't really read much about, and believe me i read A LOT.

Its Official! Release is in Early 2014!

So it is official I will be releasing my first novel in early 2014 (February)

I couldn't be any more excited!

The cover will be finished by February therefore I will be done with the novel by then (hopefully)

I will release the title and synopsis at a later date!

But I am happy to say that the names are all said and done, and I absolutely love them! Definitely swoon worthy and I hope you all feel the same as well!

I am going to overhaul this site sometime soon, and I don't know, actually learn how to use it!

I just wanted to share with everyone that in 7 months my first novel with be available as an eBook and with a bit of luck, one day published world wide

Name changer, game changer

So I've changed the names of pretty much every character. Due to the fact that so many people are starting to use the names, I don't want my character to be compared to others of the same name, especially considering some of these characters come from such good books, I couldn't even disassociate the name from that character.

Tentative names are Aiden and Harper ( her name I am still on the fence about) which just makes writing ten times harder until I can come up with a name I truly love.

I am still proceeding with writing the name will come to me eventually.

Title is decided!

So I have decided on a name for my book and I am running with it. Also I'm pretty happy with the ideas and names. Even though I just saw a book where the main character has the same name. But It's okay, two completely different characters, believe me. Anyway I have high hopes for this book, and I am ridiculously excited. When I work out all of the kinks I plan on releasing a synopsis!

First Movie check!

Welp I am happy to say I've been in my first movie. Exciting I know. I was an extra, but hey everyone has to start somewhere right? I can't say what movie I'm in but it gets released in theaters on May 2, 2014!

Filming was so much fun, I met the coolest nicest people there! Of course you had those people who actually thought they were the star and literally complained the entire time about how hot it was. Cause lets face it 90 degree weather in NYC with no clouds and crazy humidity .... yea it's going to be a little brutal, but so worth it.

I have a whopping sentence of my book done. I can't stop

I've officially started writing

So its official, I have started writing my first book. So Exciting!! I have all of 3 paragraphs done. Baby steps very small baby steps. 

I'm like a worst person so write on here, but I'm really gonna try to I promise. 

Especially since I have my brand new Macbook Air that I bought on a sporadic outing at the Apple store. I went to get my phone fix and walked out with a new Mac, oh and still broken iPhone

all the better for writing

Writing writing writing

While my pursuit for an acting career is still in full swing so is my writing! I have a really great basis for a new teen fiction novel that I plan on releasing as an ebook within the next month hopefully! (I used to write fan fictions while in high school) One of my old stories, Im hoping will be a huge success with teens! I know if I rework it and expand on it, I can really turn it into something great!

I don't know why I never thought of doing this before. All of my SATs all had journalism and writing as my major and I ended up in nursing ? Random. But I'm making amends for that and going full force in my acting and writing career and I'm hoping to be a huge success! (Cliche I know)

Personally I really want to write New Adult Contemporary fiction novels and plan on starting as soon as possible! I plan on revamping this page as soon as I get out of work and really promoting and researching what's in demand right now!

Write Write Write

So not only am I constantly submitting myself to various auditions, I am also going to start working on my very first novel, title still unknown, but I am very excited! To anyone who actually reads this I am hoping to post little teasers here and there and hopefully you can add your feedback! Constructive criticism is always welcome and can only improve my book!

Needless to say I let time get the best of me and couldn't blog.

I am proud to say I've submitted myself to 30+ auditions with various casting producers. Hopefully I will be considered for at least one role. If not ill just keep trying.

Trying to make it in one of the toughest industries will be brutal, but it's something I've always wanted to do, and it seems that fate has basically sat this opportunity in my lap and there is no way I'm going to pass it up!

I have way to much to live for. Plus life is to short to not follow your dreams

Oh hello there

How did I know that I wouldn't follow through with this whole blogging thing. However, I'm going to try and blog at least every other day! Hopefully. For whoever is reading this.

Recent activities:
I just signed with a talent agency this past weekend! So fingers crossed that I land something. Even if I'm an extra in the bathroom of like a documentary ill be ecstatic ! I'm hoping for something a little more thrilling then that tho!
I've also grown my book collection by 20+ books since the last time I've posted. Im currently looking forward to reading the "Up in the Air" series by R.K. Lilley. If you've read the first book 'In Flight' and have any thoughts let me know! Or If you have any good books you've read recently read, or want to know if I've read a book your interested in dont hesitate to ask!

For now that's all. I'm hoping to post a full list of every book I've read which will be a whole lot of books.
